Project on the ground

Increasing community spirit

Our projects aim to help local people form their own community cleanup groups to help make their neighborhoods cleaner, safer and more friendly. Our aim is to support people to take more control of their shared environment. We work with local people, community groups and local authorities to achieve amazingly positive results.

People have told us that getting involved in litter-picking has helped them to:

  • feel proud of their area and make more friends
  • discover that other local people care about their environment too
  • get some exercise in the great outdoors
  • improve their mental health
  • enjoy the satisfying feeling of sharing a cup of tea and a slice of cake post-litter-pick with friends

If you like the sound of all this and would like to join in please see below for how to get in touch.
