Welcome to Allington Alligators. We have been doing monthly organised litterpicks in the Allington area of Maidstone for over 12 years during which we have collected over 3,000 bags, as of 2023. We are a small friendly group of like-minded individuals who care about our local environment and want to keep it clean and tidy. If you are interested in joining us then do please get in touch and give us a try - new members are always welcome. All equipment is provided.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GROUP HAS BEEN PAUSED DUE TO ILL HEALTH. WATCH THIS SPACE.
Our monthly litterpicks usually take place on a Sunday morning starting at 10am for an hour or so at a venue advertised on the events section. We generally follow our litterpick in a local cafe for a chat and refreshments. In addition to our monthly picks though, we also support some of our members who pick litter during the interim period on days that suit them.
Please meet us at the junction of Castle Road with Hildenborough Crescent at 10am Sunday 5th May. Look out for our blue Skoda estate which will be parked on Hildeborough near the junction. We will pick for an hour - all equipment provided.

We cleaned up the Malta Inn car park and access road from the entrance on Forstal Road. We found 6 large white plastic containers that had held cooking oil.This is the second time we have seen such fly tipping.
