Volunteer - Marketing Assistant

Volunteer Marketing Role | Remote | Minimum 8 hours per week | 3 Month Minimum (Flexible)

CleanupUK is looking for a passionate and creative Marketing Volunteer to help raise awareness of our work empowering communities to tackle litter and transform local environments.
Working with our Communications and Marketing Manager, you'll support campaigns, organise marketing assets, create engaging content and help us connect with supporters across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on charity marketing experience while helping people in some of the country's most disadvantaged communities take positive action for their neighbourhoods.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting marketing campaigns and communications activities
Creating content for newsletters, websites and promotional materials
Organising marketing assets and resources
Helping promote CleanupUK projects, campaigns and events
Researching opportunities to increase awareness of our work
Sharing inspiring stories from communities and volunteers
We're looking for someone who:
Has an interest in marketing, communications or the charity sector
Is a strong written communicator
Is organised, proactive and creative
Has good attention to detail
Is passionate about community and environmental issues
What you'll gain:

Volunteer - Social Media Assistant

Are you passionate about social media, content creation and creating positive change? CleanupUK is looking for a creative Social Media Volunteer to help showcase the incredible work of litter-picking volunteers and inspire more people to improve their local environment.
You'll create engaging social media content, including short-form videos, photos and posts that highlight the impact of community action and encourage others to get involved.
What you'll be doing:
- Creating engaging content for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Filming and editing short videos at litter-picks and community events
- Sharing volunteer stories and community successes
- Supporting social media campaigns and awareness-raising activities
- Helping grow engagement and reach across our social channels
- Bringing fresh ideas for content and storytelling
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys creating social media and video content
- Has good written communication skills
- Is confident using social media platforms
- Has basic video editing skills (or is keen to learn)
- Is enthusiastic about environmental and community issues
- Can work independently and creatively
