11 Volunteers. 25 Bags. 1 Bag of Cans. And 1 Broken down Smart Car! A huge thank you to everyone who came along to today’s Warrington Litter Volunteers Pick around Marsh House Lane… Robin, Tripta, Trevor, Our Dave, Diana & Wendy.. We were joined by 4 new volunteers which was fantastic… thanks Naomi & Co, and also to Jack (enjoyed our LFC chat!). We enjoyed having you with us & hope to see you again soon! We covered from the end of Orford Lane along to The King & Queen Pub, covering the top ends of all side streets, with one team covering the Avenues down to Oakwood Park, a particularly bad hotspot for litter. Unfortunately.. we can’t stop the wind 💨, but at least 25 bags less to blow around! Our next pick will be posted very soon! Please join us.. Connect. Give. Exercise. Notice. A huge thank you to the 13th Warrington Scouting Group. This afternoon children and their grown ups (nearly 50 people) from across the Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts came together to collect 48 bags of litter from across St Katherine’s Estate. They have also been creating some posters for us to use as part of their badge work. (Over the next 2 days as additional 16 bags were collected by cubs on solo picks making the total to 64 bags)
