Fleetwood Wombles

Fleetwood Wombles is a community litter-picking group bringing people together to help care for Fleetwood and keep our town clean.

We organise regular Saturday morning litter picks, as well as one-off and community clean-up sessions, and help promote opportunities for people to get involved in litter picking across Fleetwood. Our aim is to make it easy for people to take positive action locally, support volunteers and contribute to a cleaner, more welcoming town.

We alternate between two main meeting points to make our sessions accessible across different parts of Fleetwood:

• Birch Street, opposite the main gates of Fleetwood Memorial Park
• Blakiston Street, near the corner of Preston Street

There is no formal membership and no commitment to attend regularly. Whether you can join us once in a while or become a regular volunteer, everyone is welcome.
