Friends of Dumbarton Foreshore

Friendly group picking litter along the Clyde foreshore either side of Dumbarton Rock. We do a few group picks per year on a relaxed drop-in basis, plus lots of solo-picking where needed, again as little or as much as people feel inclined. We communicate via Whatsapp or email. We do a bit of wider campaigning sometimes, on flushed waste and plastics. Many of us have a keen interest in wildlife, we also have a lot of laughs about our weird finds. Our group is closely linked with another Dumbarton river-side litter pick group Friends of Leven River Valley. We welcome well-behaved, supervised kids and dogs. We are non party-political.
