The Hatfield community litter pickers met on Saturday to pick along The Dells in Hatfield. It was nice to have some old friendly faces join; past residents who are continuing to clean up in their new areas. Unique find: frosty the snowman made an appearance although he looked worst for wear. Discarded decorations tend to make an appearance throughout the year. EST 10 Bags of general waste | 13 Bags of recycling.

It was the perfect morning for a #litterpick and a great turnout in Old Hatfield for the #GBSpringclean. Mary led the team of residents, their children and students from the university to collect 9 large bags of rubbish from the square and side streets. It provided an opportunity to hear some of the Tales of Old Hatfield from the Chair of the Residents Association and cultural stories from a student about how communities come together in their home countries. It was an enjoyable and eventful pick! 20kg of general waste and 21kg of recycling
