MCGI (Members Church of God International) is a Christian organization dedicated to serving communities worldwide. Guided by biblical teachings, we promote faith through acts of compassion and service, including cleanup drives to create safe, clean environments.
With branches across the UK, our volunteers collaborate to positively impact communities for the glory of God, reflecting Christ’s teachings on kindness, humility, and well-being.
Thanks be to God, MCGI volunteers continued their clean-up efforts on April 19, dedicating just one hour to serve the local community. With equipment kindly borrowed from Recycle More Southfields, brethren focused on tidying up Wimbledon Park Road.
As part of MCGI’s ongoing commitment to community service, this initiative also welcomed the involvement of children during their half-term break—teaching them the joy and purpose of doing good. True to Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go…”, young hearts were encouraged to take part and grow in service.

On April 17 at 6PM, MCGI volunteers gathered for an early evening clean-up along Wimbledon Park Road, thankful to God for another chance to serve. This short but meaningful effort was made even more special with the arrival of two new volunteers—Bro. Vermont, who came from Grinstead, and Sis. Sara. In just an hour, the team helped tidy up the area, proving that even small acts of service can make a difference. They ended the evening with a cheerful stop at Café Nero, grateful for good company and a shared purpose.

On April 16, MCGI Southfields held its first-ever litter-picking event in the area—an initiative inspired by faith and love for God’s creation. After previously joining the Enfield Upper Lavender Hill Cleanup Drive, members were grateful for the opportunity to extend their efforts to Wandsworth. With God’s help, the event brought together volunteers including Charles and Yuko from Keep Wimbledon Park Tidy. Equipment was generously loaned by Recycle More Southfields, while MCGI members also brought their own tools, united in their mission to care for the environment.
