We are a group of volunteers who want to keep the Prittle Brook Greenway in Southend-on-Sea clean and tidy. We undertake regular litter picking sessions along the pathway. We cover the Leigh stretch once a month on a Wednesday morning and the Prittlewell/Westborough stretch once a month on a Saturday morning. Equipment provided.
Next litter picking sessions:
Saturday 18th July 9.30 am. Start point: entrance to Prittle Brook Greenway on west side of Prittlewell Chase, next to Trust Links community garden SS0 0SR
Wednesday 5th August 9.30 am. Start point: entrance to Prittle Brook Greenway on Blenheim Crescent, Leigh SS9 3DX
Delighted to be joined today by Sharon, who founded the Prittle Brook Community Group back in 2009 and who is currently back in Southend on a visit.
