We are a group of volunteers who want to keep the Prittle Brook Greenway in Southend-on-Sea clean and tidy. We undertake regular litter picking sessions along the pathway. We cover the Leigh stretch once a month on a Wednesday morning and the Prittlewell/Westborough stretch once a month on a Saturday morning. Equipment provided.
Next litter picking sessions:
Wednesday 30th April 9.30 am. Meeting point entrance to Prittle Brook Greenway on Blenheim Crescent SS9 3DT (to be confirmed)
Great British Spring Clean event. We tackled the footpath leading from Fairfax Drive to Southend Hospital + part of hospital perimeter, both of which are major litter hotspots.
