Hawkesley Community Centre sit within the Three Estates in Kings Norton. As a key asset within the area, we want to encourage the local community to be proud of where they live and to be a part of keeping the area tidy.
Litter picking is not only good for the environment, but it is also a way for locals to socialize, meet other people and to have a sense of achievement by getting involved.
By keeping the area tidy, locals take pride in their environment and we want this to have a ripple effect and for more people to be encouraged to get involved.

In just under two hours we cleared a large access to the canal and masses from the sides of the donkey track in Hawkesley, Birmingham. A massive team effort! Thanks to the Canal & River Trust for their support.
