A beautiful crisp sunny morning for the Cross Green Crawlers first litter pick of autumn. Very encouraging to have two new volunteers join us and hear they enjoyed themselves. Having more people and seemingly less litter meant we covered a wider area including: Dial Street, Easy Road, St Hilda’s Crescent, Cross Green Lane and on to East Park Parade.

The Leeds 10k run is a fantastic event in the heart of the city. It was a beautiful day and lots of the runners took advantage of the water stations to keep hydrated and cool. We did our bit picking up plastic bottles that missed the organisers waste bins.
