Our Demon Litter Picker has been at it again. Monica, ahead of the heatwave, cleared litter from Richmond Hill LS9 tackling: Ellerby Road and Lane, the grounds near Mount St Mary’s School, Dial Street, Saxton Gardens Park, Cross Catherine Street and Railway Street.

It started with a community discussion with councillors and local police around crime and safety in the area. One note was that more facilities were needed for youngsters. Following on was a litter pick around Saxton Gardens to engender more pride in the neighbourhood
