Great day with 9 people getting fully involved starting in Cross Green Lane.
Monica, Caroline and Ahmed tackled an area around Mount St Mary’s school, including, Saxton Gardens Park, Ellerby Lane and Dial Street.
Meanwhile Luke, Nkele, Liz, Michael, Montse and Peter chased down litter in Easy Road, Knowsthorpe Crescent, South Accommodation Road and St Hilda’s Crescent.
By the end we estimate we’d cleared 21 bags of rubbish and pin pointed one fly tip for investigation by the Cleaner Neighbourhoods Team.

Montse found a stash of Nitrous Oxide canisters. We had to empty a few to make them safer before James sells them and a bag of aluminium cans, raising much needed funds for the church.
