Before your volunteering day
Finding the right location
We'll help you find a suitable place to litter-pick, whether it's close to your workplace, in a local park or somewhere with a special connection to your organisation.
Planning your event
We'll work with you to plan the session, including timings, group sizes and practical requirements. Your colleagues will receive a pre-event briefing so they know what to expect and how to prepare.
Permissions and safety
We'll help you navigate permissions from the relevant local authority or landowner and provide guidance on risk assessments, insurance and safeguarding requirements.
On the day, we've got you covered
We’ll provide all the equipment, guidance and support your team needs to get stuck in, including litter-picking equipment and safety clothing, a safety briefing before you begin, and a member of the CleanupUK team to guide and engage your volunteers. We’ll also take care of collecting and disposing of the litter your team gathers, as well as providing refreshments, including drinks and cake!
All you need to bring is your team and a willingness to make a difference.

Corporate volunteering day prices
As a charity, we ask for a contribution to cover the cost of delivering your corporate volunteering day. As a guide, contributions start at £60 + VAT per volunteer, minimum donations vary by location and the final cost depends on your group size, location and chosen activity. Our Corporate Partnerships team will be happy to discuss your requirements.
Your contribution also supports CleanupUK’s wider work with litter-picking groups and communities across the UK, helping more people create cleaner neighbourhoods and stronger communities for the long term.
