Inagural Litter Pick Day

73 Templeton Drive,fearnhead,Warrington,WA2 0WR

08 Jul 2011

23:00

All We are planning our first excursion around the Templeton Drive estate on Saturday 9th July starting around 10am. Weather permitting we will meet at the play ground area and break off into small groups and tackle areas in the estate. I have attached some documents that i would appreciate you look at and discuss with the kids who will be attending. As much as it is fun and an educational process we also want to ensure that we have the safest experience we can. If its sunny please ensure the kids have caps and or wear sun cream lotion I have got some equipment but i would appreciate if you can wear suitable clothing and take a pair of gloves with you if possible.on the day. I have contacted Warrington council and hope to be given some equipment and bags etc to help us going forward. The plan is to gather up everything we can find and take it back to the play area where it will be divided into what can be recycled.

Once again for ease if you can join the litter action group we have created it will be easier to communicate in future. Please ask your Family ,friends and neighbours to get involved and join in Regards Charlie Ruddy .

We believe in the limitless potential in every child and Seek to open avenues in all fields of experience in order to engage and inspire our cohort. We too provide free consultancy, CPD and CBT/mentoring services in return, in order to create mutually rewarding partnership and more importantly, to spread good practice wherever desired. We are currently using our Eco club and wardens projects to engage our students with their own thoughts, feelings and in being mindful through gardening, planting and creating green spaces our Volunteer Litter picks help children consider their place within our wider community and human's relationship and interdependence with the world and the environment.
