Billingham Tidy Up

We cover Billingham and the surrounding villages of Cowpen Bewley and Wolviston. We have weekly group events at changing locations around town and occasionally take part in beach cleans at Seaton Carew in Hartlepool or with other groups in the Teesside area around the river Tees. Group members also have equipment to allow them to go picking when it is convenient for them and then they post about their collection on our group Facebook page.

iLitterate
I regularly go litter picking in Norwich, usually around Eaton Park and the area around the UEA. If you fancy picking up rubbish, please join! I don\'t have any gear to offer, so you would need to bring your own litter pickers.

The Litter-Free Guiseley Campaign
Active since 2003. Our group hates the way that litter blights the environment. We understand that Council services cannot resolve the problem alone, so we put something back into our community by tackling the issue head-on. Our main aim is to keep the streets, lanes and green spaces of Guiseley, West Yorkshire, clear of litter. Occasionally, we cross over into Menston and Otley. We are looking for more active support from the residents of Guiseley. Volunteers can either adopt their own patch & work solo or team up with other volunteers. Hours totally flexible - whatever suits you. Equipment and advice are provided free of charge! We cover different parts of Guiseley and we are collecting upwards of 100 bags of litter a month. Please support us in whatever capacity you can.

Brighter Uckfield Campaign (BUC Up)
The Group operates under the aegis of the Town Council. Every Sunday morning, at 9.00, a small band of volunteers (open to anyone to attend) meets at the Civic Centre to conduct a 'swift-pick' in the worst-affected areas (finishing at about 11.00). The Campaign has moved onto taking small patches of public land in the town and overseeing planting out and maintenance. The town's annual beautiful gardens competition is organised by the Group. The Group joins the annual clear-up of the River Uck that flows through the town. Weeding pavements and cutting back undergrowth are also tasks that are taken on. Most of this work is concentrated on the town centre, but a network of 'litter pickers' is being gradually established on the estates around the town. Volunteers are provided with a hi-vi vest, a litter picking stick, gloves and refuse sacks - and we even have wheeled trolleys to take round with you to deal with the large amounts of litter on a Sunday morning. The Campaign has its own (Don't be a) "Mucky Duck" logo.
