Steve litter picked Winterstoke Gardens and local area. 2 bags waste and 1 bag cans and bottles recycled. Thoughtless ‘celebration’ near the Granville. Loads of gold, shiny plastic bits all over the place. 🙄 Should be banned, unless biodegradable. No doubt these will be appearing in my bag, every week for the foreseeable future. 😡

Mick and Amanda 1 bag from Woodford avenue bit of Margate rd and tidy up the viaduct again. 1 bag from both sides of st Luke's to the shop. 1 bag from Denmark rd and bit of boundary rd to the park. 2 bags from the rest of boundary rd, various alleys in-between to Stanley place. 1 bag from Stanley place and Margate rd back to the viaduct. While we were at the viaduct some knob told us we were taking away jobs from the council and they could be employed to do what we were doing. We were polite in our response 😁🫢. Emma, 2 bags collected from West Dumpton Lane, alleyways behind Prestedge and across fields past school to include some of Pysons Road. The remnants of a fridge dumped at the end of Shirley Avenue (other side of road to council bin). Reported 🤬

Mick and Amanda, 3 bags from the station alley and warre rec. 1 bag from the warre rec around st Lawrence including the infamous bench to the pie factory. 1 bag from the pie factory to the viaduct. Dawn 2 bags Boundary Park, and outside the blue flats opposite🙃 Dale, One bag👍 left at “The Jolly Farmer” rude not to pop in for a beer🤷♂️ Geoff, Dumpton gap beach along to main sands car park. James, 2 bags today at Plains of Waterloo. Bins overflowing here , at Arklow Sq., and on the High Street. Council needs to step up with emptying public bins in timely fashion! Volunteers can only do so much, and the failure to empty public bins is demoralising and undermines our efforts. Mary, Hi Maxine, I did litter pick sevenscore roundabout to lord of the Manor roundabout, got 3 big fulls of rubbish .

Liubov, newington Road and surrounding streets Mick and Amanda, 1 bag from Woodford avenue, newlands road, top of Whitehall road to nixon avenue. 1 bag from both sides of Whitehall road to Hurst grove. 1 bag from the rest of Whitehall road to the warre rec. 1 bag from the kids play area in the warre rec which took us 20 mins to clear 🤬.1 bag from Ellington park to the viaduct and tidy up around the overflowing bin again. On the plus side a lady came out of her house and gave us a tenner as she has seen us around and appreciates what we do so the first round is on her 😎☺️👏.

Womble, 2 bags from the tunnel roundabout, up dead donkey land,and then around the back of the dirt bike track. Geoff, Dumpton gap beach along to main sands car park, half of the sack, then Seafield rd down to Grange rd up to the Premier Inn. Took some of the overflow from this bin as well. Now having a cooked breakfast at Rio’s cafe restaurant .
