Steve litter picked Winterstoke Gardens and local area. 1 bag waste, 1 bag recyclables. Very little actual litter. More cans and bottles for recycling (by weight) than actual waste, for a change! The wind may have helped. A lot of the lighter litter obviously blown towards Broadstairs. Their problem now. 😀

Emma and Sarah, Sarah and I have collected another 18 bags and lots of flytipping from Beaufort Avenue behind railings. It's pretty disgusting when you go for a shower after and woodlice fall off you when you're undressing 🤣🤣 Our efforts have encouraged other locals to do their own bit of litter picking which is lovely to see. Mick and Mandy, 4 bags from the Woodford wombles today 😎👍. 1 bag from the viaduct to the new bin in st Luke's. 1 bag from both sides of st Luke's, upper dumpton park rd part of boundary Rd to Stanley place. 1 bag from Chatham place, Chatham passage to station approach rd. 1 bag from both sides of Margate Rd back to the viaduct.

Emma, 5 bags today (1 yet to be collected by council even though it was reported 2 weeks ago 😡) West Dumpton Lane, Dumpton Lane, cemetery alleyway, College Road, some of Margate Road, Newlands Lane, alleyway alongside Royal Harbour Academy and back home across the field. Met a lovely lady called Jo and turns out she lives opposite me 🤣🤣.

Sarah and I have been busy wombles and collected a toilet seat, car seats, suitcase, piping, another load of canisters and a tyre. 14 bags collected from railings by Beaufort Avenue and 3 from field closer to Manston Road. Everything we collected Thursday has been picked up which is fab. All reported. Roman, Melbourne Ave.

Mick and Mandy 6 bags from the Woodford wombles today 😎🌞. 1 bag from Woodford avenue Margate Rd to the viaduct and tidy up in the bushes again 🤬🤬. 1 bag from both sides of st Luke's to the church. 1 bag from the alley behind the church, boundary Rd. 1 bag from Chatham place, eagle hill to the leisure centre. 1 bag from both sides of the high st to Ellington park, wilfred rd to the station. 1 bag from the station alley back to the viaduct. By the time we got back to the viaduct household rubbish had been dumped in the bushes again so cleared that 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Serayana, 1 bag collected from La Belle Alliance Park - majority was decanted from the overflowing bin - pictured - I left my bag with my other one from yesterday by the bin on corner Plains of waterloo / Bellevue Road reported the bin to TDC via Maxine Morgan ‘s shared link 😀 am outta bags now so lemme know where to collect more whenever you get a mo - no rush coz I off grid for a week now

Serayana, Hi 2 bags collected Irchester Street,Waterloo Place, Plains of Waterloo ,Bellevue Road, Augusta Road 😀 1 bag left Plains of Waterloo & 1 left Marina Road Rachel, My daughter started her volunteering for her D of E today, we collected 2 bags from the alley on St James Avenue round to Newington Fish Bar. She moaned a lot 🤭😬😂. It could be a long 3-6 months 🤣. Collected from some of Winstanley Crescent, Luke's Avenue, Holly Road, College Road, cemetery alleyway, Dumpton Lane, some of West Dumpton Lane (flytipped bags by bin) and alley and field behind Prestedge Avenue. A nice morning litter pick just wouldn't be the same without picking up a few nappies and a bottle of piss 😜 Mick and Mandy 4 bags from the Woodford wombles today 🤣😎. 1 bag from Woodford avenue, station alley to the station. 1 bag from the station footpath, Newington bridge to the warre rec. 1 bag from around the warre rec to Ellington park. 1 bag from Ellington park to the viaduct. Took the big un out today to get stuff from behind the railings and in the growth on Newington bridge 💪. Someone is still chucking household waste in the bushes at the viaduct 🤬🤬.
