Bev, One bag from Turner street, Brunswick Street, King street and area around traffic lights at the bottom of Boundary road/Victoria road Geoff, Cliftonville Percy rd, down to lido along cliff top to palm bay cafe. Also rescued a llittle girls Teddy who fell over the barrier. It was her favourite i was told. Convinced if more people used these things there would be less litter 😆😆. Menno got almost a full bag this morning, around the block up to Pegwell Road, the two shelters and the bit of Esplanade on the Pegwell bay end and down to the sea. Steve litter picked Winterstoke Gardens and local area. 1 bag of waste and 1 bag of recyclables. Victoria Parade not too bad, usual wind blown litter, corner of Thanet Road. Seems to be a litter trap there. Perhaps it’s the amount of leaves that collect on the pavement there. Cans and sandwich wrappers, etc., in the gutter, coincidentally right outside where builders are working. 🙄 Now I’m not saying they eat their lunch in their van and then drop the residue in the gutter, but there was no other rubbish along that particular stretch.
