As part of the European CleanAtlantic project, we invite you to participate in a survey on the marine litter on the shoreline.

The objective of the CleanAtlantic project is to provide solutions to the problem of marine litter by improving data management, monitoring, modelling, mapping, and collection of litter in the North East Atlantic.

The aim of this survey is to improve knowledge of:

  • the location of stranded litter and
  • shoreline clean-up practices.

The results will be used to inform public policies on marine litter: the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD), the OSPAR Convention, and the Ministry of Ecological Transition's "Zero Plastic at Sea by 2025" Roadmap.

This is an opportunity for you to share your experience at the scale of the European Atlantic area.
