We walked our dog tonight, late about 9.45. Very short walk, one side of the Tropicana to the pool on the other side. Son always litter picks, tonight 2 black bags collected in that short walk. More could of been collected too. Driving home we were amazed at how many bins were overflowing.
While people visiting the beach should take responsibility and not be such dirty b's, surely North Somerset Council needs to take responsibility too. We all know the forecast, can predict it's going to be busy, why not put extra bin collections in?

This week, we partnered with Life's a Beach for a beach clean in Weston-super-Mare 🌊♻️
Nearly 60 ProCook colleagues spent the day helping clean up the coastline, collecting an incredible 76kg of litter in the process 🫶
A brilliant day supporting our local community, protecting our beaches, and finishing things off with some well-earned fish & chips by the sea 🍟🐟
