Forgot to post yesterday, so a two day update today. Yesterday was going to be a quick litter pick. However, 4 bags and 4 1/2 miles later, I managed to get myself home. Out again early this morning. Another 4 bags but needed more. Found the empty Stella can graveyard on the way home but that's one to tackle another day. Watered your flowers 🌼😄

As part of our work with cleaner coastlines Flamingos have been taking part in ‘Luna’s litter pick’ with Mrs Bonney and Luna. We used litter pickers and bin bags to tidy up an area in Mead Vale. Well done Flamingos 🦩

My child and I went for a walk on Weston beach this morning, and we collected a bag full of rubbish.
We also found these treasures. The fish hook was hidden in the sand, but luckily we noticed a reflection and went to investigate. I’m so happy we found it before someone stood on it with bare feet, or before a curious dog found it.

My children decided to spend this afternoon litter picking worle high street. My eldest has often commented on the amount of litter when we are walking down there. They collected 4 full bags of rubbish and recycling. Lots of cans, glass bottles and takeaway cartons. Surely people can do better. If a 7 and 5 year old know litter is bad, why don't adults.

Myself and my 6 year old walked around Tamar court in Worle, 20 minutes in and we filled our green bag, full of cans and some plastic bottles. Alongside other usual rubbish such as crisp wrappers and what nots in another bag (not in the picture).
