Took advantage of the sunny weather to get out for mums first litter pick of the year, due to the weather and medical appointments in the last few weeks. We picked all round the seafront gardens and in front of Imperial court. The Gardens themselves were quite clear but the shelters had lots of cans and other rubbish.

A fine sunny pick, round the front of Imperial court and mums seafront gardens, then picked the prom up towards Vista rd to drop off a Xmas card and back in to town for a lovely Wimpy lunch. Collected a bag full of litter on our travels.

We picked the Seafront gardens, along the prom and around Imperial Court. Pleasantly surprised how little rubbish there was even along the verges of the cliff side. We still collected a decent amount in particular around the shelters and we wrapped up warm and enjoyed the crisp autumn day. One of us even had a lovely hot water bottle to help keep out the cold 🙂

This was a birthday pick. My 50th birthday and I chose to ask the family to join me on a beach litter pick. They fully embraced the challenge. the beach was littered with debris from fireworks parties on the beach. around 25 to 30 sparklers, remnants of rockets, food packaging and cigarette butts. This was the first litter pick my eldest daughter had joined and she enjoyed making a difference

We picked along the prom and especially in and around the memorial Garden to get it tidy for Sunday's rememberence service. There was one particularly litter strewn area around a bin and the nearby shelter but otherwise looking not too bad.

Noticed a lot of litter in Collingwood Road on Friday so popped down there on Saturday. A lot of rubbish found in the Bowls Club hedges. Also collected from part of Wash Lane where there was even more in the hedges including 2 carrier bags stuffed together full of household waste (drink cartons and milk bottles mainly). Covered most of Kings Road on the way back and found a pair of black frilly skimpy knickers.
