What an incredible community effort today! 👏💚
Our first community litter pick at the Robin Hood, Clacton, was a fantastic success. A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help make our town cleaner and greener.
Together, we collected an amazing 30 bags of litter, along with a couple abandoned trolleys, covering a large area of Great Clacton. The difference made in just a few hours shows what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
A special thank you to every volunteer for your hard work, enthusiasm, and community spirit. Your efforts have made a real impact and set a wonderful example for others.
We’re excited to make this a monthly event, and we look forward to welcoming even more people next time. Every bag collected helps keep Clacton a place we can all be proud of.

Littered alley litterpick. We tackled a very littered alleyway where the grass had been cut and so the litter had been shred and scattered too. There’s not much we didn’t find today, a knife, vapes, lighters, cigarettes, bucket of concrete, shoe, cans , bottles, wrappers and a t-shirt

Lift Tendring took pupils to the naze wildlife area and beach and carried out a spring clean litter pick. There is a lovely article in their newsletter.
They have pledged to litter pick at lunchtimes at school and in a few months carry out another pick in the community.

After joining another community litter pick we decided to stay out and pick mum's chosen seafront gardens and the area towards the pier.
The actual gardens were quite clear but the seafront shelters gave us lots of litter.
