Litter picked in some of the roads near us with my granddaughters. Found a windscreen wiper along with cans and plastic bottles and other small pieces of litter. An enjoyable walk around the neighbourhood.

Kings Road, Clacton-on-sea Took our 95 year old mum with us and she thoroughly enjoyed it. No unusual finds, just plastic bottles, cans and food wrappers, mainly, but not too many. Got home just before the rain.

Beach litter pick by the Edwards family - “Everyone actually enjoyed it, it’s addictive and you end up doing further beaches. I was quite overwhelmed with the amount we were able to collect over just two beaches. It gave us an unexpected feeling of purpose “ “it will ensure we get exercise and fresh air too

The Tygers ( Tendring Youth group) worked hard and gathered around 14kg of rubbish across the evening from the local park, school car park and public car park, and along the route to the village hall . They all worked brilliant in small teams showing that they could collaborate to make a difference in the community. The feedback from the local Facebook group was so positive and appreciative. The children all enjoyed doing this and could explain the importance of not dropping litter . A great group of children 🚮

Little Clacton litter pick instigated by a local resident. Three of us used the cleanup uk equipment and cleaned ditches, footpaths and around a school. Joined by the local volunteer litter picking team.
