Noticed a lot of litter in Collingwood Road on Friday so popped down there on Saturday. A lot of rubbish found in the Bowls Club hedges. Also collected from part of Wash Lane where there was even more in the hedges including 2 carrier bags stuffed together full of household waste (drink cartons and milk bottles mainly). Covered most of Kings Road on the way back and found a pair of black frilly skimpy knickers.

Did some litter picking with granddaughters and son on the way to Leas Road to drop off some recycling. Kings, Cherry Tree, Leas and Uplands Roads. Quite a few cans but mainly just odd bits of litter. Lovely day for a walk.

Lots of cans and bottles noticed by mum around the bench in the sea front garden outside of Imperial court. While out for a short walk on her rollator. She managed to clear them to the bin, by sitting on the bench and leaning down to pick them up and put them on the bench, then took a few at a time to the bin till she cleared them all. ❤️
