This was week two of the Tendring village scarecrow trail . Visitors travelled to take part in the trail and some borrowed the litter picking equipment to pick litter on route . Three families took part this week .

The Tygers ( Tendring Youth group) worked hard and gathered around 14kg of rubbish across the evening from the local park, school car park and public car park, and along the route to the village hall . They all worked brilliant in small teams showing that they could collaborate to make a difference in the community. The feedback from the local Facebook group was so positive and appreciative. The children all enjoyed doing this and could explain the importance of not dropping litter . A great group of children 🚮
