What a SUPER afternoon for our May Bank Holiday Beach Clean. 🥳🚯♻️🏖️ Lots of music, people enjoying the beach, families spending time in Weston and generally a really lovely vibe in town this weekend.
Thank you so much to the volunteers who joined us today. ☺️ A particular thank you to Cath and Cathy who are Street Pastor volunteers and joined us for the afternoon litter picking! It was wonderful to have you wish us and we very much appreciate the incredible work that you do to keep our town and its residents safe during nights out. Additionally, thank you to our incredible 'regulars' who litter pick with us at every event and go out during the week on a #SoloPick as well as joining other fantastic local groups. Welcome to Roy - we hope to see you again soon!

Last week, the island's warden and volunteers worked hard to complete a beach clean-up as part of The Severn Estuary Spring Clean, which took place between 21st March - 6th April. In total, they filled five bin bags with litter!👏
Here on the island, we strive to help keep our environment clean by regularly clearing the rubbish that gets washed ashore.
Well done to Lawrence, Toby and Evan for helping to maintain Flat Holm's shoreline and contributing to the Severn Estuary Partnership’s fantastic initiative.
